Seven years after Darlyne’s transition, and the publication of our book, TriumphI wrote an Afterword at the suggestion of my publisher. It was included in the Kindle version of Triumph, which was released recently. I am including a copy of the Afterword here, so that those of you who purchased the paperback version of our book will have the opportunity to read it.

For those of you who have not read Triumph, this will give you a “taste” and perhaps entice you to purchase a copy, and avail yourself of the valuable information contained therein. You’ll be very glad you did.

Afterword

Its been over six and a half years since Darlyne made her transition and escaped the confines of her body. I miss her every day, but if I had the power to call her back to me, in human form, I would not.. She’s free of time and space now and having a wonderful ongoing experience “where” she is. Of that, I am certain. You may be wondering if she’s contacted me, since her departure. The answer is, ABSOLUTELY! YES, she has!

A few months after her departure, I was trimming branches from a large Japanese Maple tree just outside of our front Darlyne's Windchime 001window. At one point, while cutting the branches, I heard a tinkling sound. I stopped and searched through the pile of branches and found a small wind-chime that Darlyne had hung from a branch. (see photo at left)  It consisted of the figure of a small winged fairy and four tiny chimes.  It was a very Angel-like fairy. Darlyne loved Angels. Our home was full of them. Almost every time she went shopping, she’d bring another one home with her.

There was one small branch on the tree that I hadn’t removed. It was a lower one, on which Darlyne herself had hung a long, thin, silver decoration that twirls in the wind. I kept that one because I knew she’d hung it there with her own hands. I wondered where to hang the wind-chime I’d just found. I held it at arms length and imagined it in different locations.

Our home has a small front porch, with an overhanging roof. There’s a twelve-foot long four-by-four beam which supports the roof. On the two-by-six rafters, beyond the beam, are four medium sized eye-hooks. I held the wind-chime up imagining it on each of the empty eye-hooks. I couldn’t decide in the moment, so I placed the wind-chime in the raised brick flower bed beneath the beam. When I had finished trimming branches, I had quite a large pile of them. I moved all of the them to the far side of the house and raked the area from where I had taken them. I had done a meticulous job of trimming and raking. There wasn’t a speck of anything out of place. I looked again at the four empty eye-hooks and at the branch from which hung the silver twirly-thing. I was tired. I decided that I’d make up my mind later.

That evening at about 11:30pm I was about to go to bed. Harley, my big gray kitty-cat, hadn’t come in yet. I thought I’d check out front, just in case he was waiting for me to let him in. As I opened the door and looked outside, something caught my eye. On the second eye-hook from the left was hanging a hook with a long spring attached. It was the top part of the wind-chime I had found! I know that Darlyne put it there to let me know that she was nearby.  There is absolutely no other explanation. In the end, I decided to hang the wind chime, complete with hook,  from the small branch, about a foot from the silver twirly-thing. It’s tinkling in the breeze right now.

My next experience had to do with Orbs. You can look up Orbs on Google and find numerous explanations and descriptions of what they are, complete with photos. Orbs have interested me for many years and I’ve taken many photos of them. It is my belief that they are spirit-beings. When Darlyne was still in form, we used to say, “Let’s invite them to join us and then go and take some photos. I bet there’ll be lots of them!” For some reason, we never got around to doing that.

Sometime after Darlyne left on her journey, my youngest daughter, Chaya-Ryvka, came to live with me. She and Darlyne were very close, and Chaya missed her a lot as did I. We were talking about her one evening and we said, “Hey! Why don’t we ask Darlyne to join us and bring along her friends and THEN go out and take some photos and see what happens!” And so we did.

This first photo is  one I found on the Internet. This is the sort of thing I was expecting to capture as I had numerous times in the past.

But the next photos captured something I was not expecting at all!

In this photo I was completely surrounded by the smokey-like substance.

In order to take Orb photos, I hold my camera at arms-length, with the flash enabled. It was a dark night, but not pitch-dark. I was startled when I took these, because when the strobe flashed it seemed as if I was surrounded in smoke. There was no smoke however, and there was no smell of smoke. The “smoke” was only visible when the strobe flashed. I took a few photos and excitedly went inside to download them, wondering what they would show. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw them. What I was looking at, I am sure, was my dear Darlyne, wrapping herself all around me. I have no doubt about it. The examples I’ve given have been the most profound experiences I have had as far as having contact with Darlyne. As I said, it’s been over 6 years since her departure. I feel that once she was certain I was doing well she left to do other things. It feels as if she checks in on me from time to time. I feel her presence now and then. She visits me in dreams sometimes. I always feel her love.

  1. Incredible story Phillip! Written with such compassion and a real sense of clarity. What great orb pictures. My mind is fully blown at the moment. Your story is a wonderful venture into the metaphysical world and truly beyond nature. The true fact is with our synthetic knowledge we think we know things , and so many things are unexplained and not considered main stream knowledge. I do believe in this philosophy and am grateful to know you and be a part of your life.. Thank you
