My mom, Betty Diehl, would have been 105 today. She was born on Christmas day of 1908. She left her body when it was 88 years of age. I say “it” and not “she” because she was not her body. I was with my mom when she “died,” and it was very apparent to me then, as it was when Darlyne “died,” she/they didn’t “die” at all. Her Spirit left her body, that’s all. And that’s who she is, after all, her Spirit, not her body. That’s true for all of us, and so once again I reiterate, there’s nothing to worry about, nothing to fear. We never die! We are all immortal! Happy birthday, Mom! I love you! I’ll see you soon.
