Just Think About Your Life and “Death” In Another Way. . . . .

I’m reading a book entitled, “The Astonishing Power of Emotions – Let Your Feelings Be Your Guide,” By Esther and Jerry Hicks (The Teachings of Abraham)2011_09_11_256

I’m going to quote Abraham here:

We find it humorous to hear an Eternal Being speaking of the shortness of life, but of course we understand that you are not seeing yourself in the full, broad view in which we see you. The awareness that most humans have of themselves usually extends only from their physical entrance into this body to their physical exit from this body; and the longer they live and the closer to that exit they think they are, the more uncomfortable they become. If they only knew that that exit is but another entrance, their discomfort would be replaced with a delicious sense of Eternal adventure.”

How thrilling is that!?!! As far as I am concerned, that says it PERFECTLY! We are after all, “Spiritual Beings having a human experience.” This is just one experience out of an infinite number of experiences that we are having in this eternal journey of ours. Our lives here are just a “parenthesis in eternity.” I think it was Thoreau who coined that phrase. Just think about the word, “eternity.” That’s FOREVER! That’s how long our life is – FOREVER! We are NEVER going to die. We will ALWAYS exist! Our exit from this experience is an entrance to another new experience, as Abraham said in the paragraph above. In a billion-million-gazillion years from now, long after our entire solar system has ceased to be, we will still be just as much alive as we are today – in fact more-so!

By the way, I want to remind you of the wonderful book Darlyne and I wrote during the last year of her latest incarnation on this planet. Please check it out HERE! You’ll be glad you did!
